El Vall d'Hebron prova un sistema nou per detectar ràpidament la covid-19 amb intel-ligència artificial
The Hospital Vall d’Hebron is testing a new system based on artificial intelligence that, if proven effective, could speed up the diagnosis of COVID-19 in patients with symptoms. The project, driven by the European Union, aims to detect pneumonia more quickly through chest CT scans. Currently, the radiologist examines the image and prepares a report based on what they see. If the system works, it will directly send the image to the artificial intelligence software, which will make an immediate diagnosis from the CT scan.
